Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Anterooms website and your purchase of a founding-member deposit. By paying the deposit you agree to these terms. Anterooms is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("Anterooms", "we", "us").

1. What Anterooms is right now

Anterooms is a product in development: an AI voice interviewer for interview practice, built for non-native English speakers. The product has not launched yet. The founding-member deposit described below is a pre-launch reservation, not a purchase of a finished product.

2. The founding-member deposit — exactly what you get

The founding-member deposit costs US $9, paid once. In exchange you receive:

A reserved founding spot: a numbered place on the waitlist, confirmed by email after payment.
First access: founding members are onboarded before general availability, in waves.
Founding price: when Anterooms launches, your subscription price is the founding rate, locked in for as long as your subscription remains active.
Deposit credit: your $9 is credited in full toward your first month of Anterooms.

The founding cohort is limited to 100 spots; once they are claimed we stop selling deposits. The deposit does not grant equity, does not guarantee any specific launch date or feature set, and is limited to one founding spot per person.

3. Refund policy

The deposit is fully refundable. If we do not launch Anterooms within 12 months of your payment, we refund every deposit in full, automatically, to the original payment method. Before launch, you can also request a refund at any time, for any reason, by emailing hello@anterooms.net or replying to your confirmation email — no questions asked.

Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days. After launch, if you choose not to subscribe, you may still request a refund of the deposit within 30 days of our launch announcement.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record — the order, receipt and any applicable taxes are handled by Lemon Squeezy, and by paying you also agree to its buyer terms. We never see or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars; your bank may apply currency conversion fees.

5. Fair use

Anterooms is a practice tool used before interviews. When the product launches, you agree not to use it to misrepresent yourself during live interviews or assessments, and not to abuse, reverse-engineer or disrupt the service.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The website and (when launched) the service are provided "as is". We do not guarantee interview outcomes or job offers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us (the $9 deposit). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to founding members by email. The refund promise in Section 3 will not be weakened retroactively for deposits already paid.
